PIETERLASTMANWEG, AMSTELVEEN
In collaboration with real estate developer Redevco, we carried out a green roof project on Pieter Lastmanweg in Amstelveen using our Jungle Boxes. This redeveloped property, with a Zara, appartments, and hospitality services, focuses on sustainability and the optimal use of available space.
We supplied +800 Jungle Boxes with native plants and climbing plants and the sides of the buildings that not only strengthen biodiversity but also add a green character to the building. A special fact: the entire building operates fully without gas, making it an example of future-proof urban real estate.
The green roof and solar panels contribute to energy efficiency and climate resilience. Furthermore, the plants are regularly monitored to ensure its long-term health and growth.
