LEK & LINGE, CULEMBORGTalking trees educating students about irrigation in their schoolyard

Connecting people to nature is what we strive for. In the case of this schoolyard at Lek & Linge, we particularly connect students to nature, by showing the irrigation data from the two Urban Trees in front of the buildings entrance on a dashboard in the hallway.

The schoolyard is a deck on top of a bike storage, meaning planting in the ground was not an option. Hence our Urban Tree formed a good solution and made it possible to place a Gleditsia triacanthos and Carpinus betulus so students can enjoy shade and green during their lunch breaks.
